Streets of Mdina, old capital of Malta. Hand drawn with oil pastels on toned pastel paper. Inspired by the medieval architecture of iconic "silent city" and evening light. Right after sunset, the sky turns  transparent cobalt blue, with teal streaks of light. These colours stay for a very short time and the artist has to move quickly to catch them.

The drawing is mounted on acid-free backing board and matting, frame-ready. Matting has a natural white colour, which complements the drawing quite well. Signed and varnished. Please note that colours may differ due to differences in devices.
