Up and running

September marks the month of great beginnings and hopes for even greater outcomes (fingers crossed). The site is finally live, Yasa Art Studios is officially open for business.

The grand plan for the blog includes shop, studio and site updates, pictures of new paintings available for sale, as well as stories about Asian art. Symbolism, artist materials, cultural notes - whatever else comes along.

In the meantime, Yasa has finished a still life with pears. It is oil on canvas, sort of classy composition with the fall colours. The pears are still drying and will be put up for sale some time around Christmas. Yeah, oil takes ages to dry.
